Connecting Your Tebex Store

Link your Tebex store to Taintless, understand product sync, and keep checkout Tebex-native.

Taintless connects to your Tebex store through the Headless public API. Once linked, your products, prices, categories, images, store name, and store logo are synced into the storefront experience.

Finding your Public Token

Log in to the Tebex Creator Panel
Navigate to Integrations -> API Keys
Copy your Public Token

Use your Public Token, not the Secret Key. Taintless does not need your Tebex Secret Key for storefront rendering.

Connecting during project creation

When you create a new project, paste your public token in the setup form. Taintless validates it against Tebex and imports the store identity and catalog data needed for the storefront.

Changing the connected Tebex store

The Tebex token is set during project creation and is shown as a read-only project setting. This protects a live storefront from accidentally switching to the wrong Tebex account.

If you need to rotate the token or connect a different Tebex store, create a new project with the new public token or contact support before changing a live store.

Product sync

Your product catalog syncs from Tebex in two ways:

Changes you make in Tebex, including new products, price updates, updated images, and category changes, appear on your webstore after the next sync.

On Pro and Ultra plans, use the Fast Sync button in the editor to pull changes immediately without waiting for the 24-hour cycle.

What gets synced

Product names and descriptions
Pricing (including sale prices)
Product images
Categories
Store name and logo
Store currency

When a customer adds a product to their basket and proceeds to checkout, they are redirected to Tebex checkout. Payments, final basket totals, customer authentication, taxes, and payment data are handled by Tebex. Taintless never processes card data.
